STEP 4 Add jump rings to the pendant to serve as bails
Flux and solder a jump ring to the pendant to serve as a bail. If your shard is a square or other wide shape, you may need to solder two jump rings onto the top left and right edges of the pendant so that it is balanced when worn. If desired, apply additional decorative soldering to the areas where the jump rings attach to the pendant. To create a solder drop that looks like a teardrop, hold the china piece perpendicular to the work surface but leaning back at an angle. Then it will fall in the shape of a teardrop. When finished, wash and dry your pendant.
